BayWa has instituted a $75 pallet fee for solar panels under 600w, and $150 for panels over 600w. This is due to the work it takes to break down a pallet that is shipped vertically stacked, for one or two modules (some pallets are shipped with 36 panels), and then re-stack them all flat, plus the cost of the custom pallet for the customer.

Unfortunately we need to pass this fee on as the margin isn't there to include it. So effective immediately the pallet fee rate will be (less than600w/more than 600w):

1-9 panels + $75/$150 pallet fee

10-15 panels + $50/$100 pallet fee

16+ panels - We eat the fee.

The pallet fee ONLY applies to solar panels bought in less than a full pallet quantity.

Because of this fee, in Calgary we often buy and stock pallets of solar panels so can avoid having to charge this for small orders. At the Calgary special listings location only.
